Clann Eireann sent an envoy of  nine riders to the Narrow water straight to race the Haldane memorial.  The club were represented by Warren McNeil, Mickey Mc Conville and début riders Jerome Donnelly & Ryan Beagan in the 'B' Event. The event raced 4 laps of the 10 mile circuit and despite numerous threats to split the group stayed together and the outcome was decided by a bunch sprint with all Clannsmen coming in safe and in the top 20.

The A event was raced by Brothers Martin & Barry McConville accompanied by Conor Grimes, John Heverin and Michael Murray.  The race covered 6 circuits and again was decided by a bunch sprint with Barry McConville & Conor Grimes involved but missing out on the placings.Next week sees the Clannsmen take on the more challenging Pj Logan circuit in Coalisland.  For full race report and pics visit:  www.cyclingulster.com
